What It Does
- Sales Order Confirmations — When a sales order confirmation is posted, an email is sent immediately to the customer with complete order data including line items, quantities, dates, and pricing — all ready for your SendGrid template. To, CC, and BCC recipients are fully supported and automatically deduplicated.
- Shipment Notifications — Shipping events trigger automatic dispatch emails enriched with shipment details, tracking numbers, and delivery URLs so customers can follow their order to the door. Attachments such as shipping documents are included when present.
- Invoices and Credit Memos — Posted invoices and credit memos are delivered as emails with full line-level data including invoice numbers, amounts, and VAT breakdowns. Lines are grouped by charge type — goods, freight, rounding, and no-charge — for clean template rendering. PDF attachments are included automatically when available.
- Custom Message Envelopes — Any Business Central event can trigger a custom SendGrid email via the flexible envelope flow. The envelope carries structured data, a configurable subject, optional text content, and file attachments, with the template selected at send time.
