What It Does

  • Product Synchronisation — Items from Business Central are created or updated as Akeneo products with full attribute values, locale assignments, and channel scope. Both a flat-product mode and a structured product-model mode are supported, with a configurable default family applied when a product is created for the first time.
  • Product Variant and Model Management — When your Akeneo catalogue uses a product model hierarchy, product models are created and maintained automatically alongside their variant products. The correct parent model is resolved for each product based on configurable attribute mappings, keeping your variant tree consistent as items change.
  • Attribute Option Management — Missing attribute options for single-select and multi-select attributes are created automatically in Akeneo when new values are encountered. Option codes are derived using a configurable label-to-code mapping, so new classifications in Business Central never require manual option setup in Akeneo.
  • Product Image Transfer — Product images held in Akeneo are available for transfer directly to Business Central on demand. Images are streamed without intermediate storage, ensuring Business Central always receives the current version of each product image.
